What do you need for an enjoyable bike ride?
Sunshine. A bike. Nice weather.
Sun is out in its full glory, check. Zombie apocalypse bike finished and needs a shakedown ride, check. Weather forecasted to be in the upper 40s F, sorta check.
Why "sorta"? Because 50F is my temperature threshold for riding.
My intention was to ride to the commissary for some groceries while giving the new bike a shakedown. I got just past Panzer before I succumbed to the cold. I'm a wimp. And I hate suffering in the cold.
Jumped into the shower and warmed up. Damn it felt nice.
I'll go grocery shopping tomorrow. But I'm driving instead unless the weather miraculously turns warmer.
I hope the weather isn't cold in VB for Turkeyday.
