Today I awoke lazy. I didn't feel like commuting to work, this week is a little further and this morning is a little on the cool side. Forecasted to be a high a 66 deg F. These factors led to my decision to drive into work this morning. I drove the route I took when I did swing shifts at Kelley for the Libya support back in March.
There was mild traffic in Steinnenbron, then a little more congested traffic through Leinfelden. As I left Leinfelden, I missed the exit to 27 so I drove on the 8 and got off at the Leinfelden/Fasanahof exit. Guess what? Yup, traffic congestion.
The drive time was only ten minutes quicker than if I had biked into work. Not much of a time savings if you ask me and I tend to get frustrated which turns into road rage the longer I sit in traffic. On the bike a another matter. Totally on the opposite end of the spectrum. It's fun making endorphins.
