On the river without a paddle...

I'm on vacation and its the 5th day of 14 days off from work. I trained my co-workers how to do my job competently and made sure they asked questions to ensure they know how to do my job while I am away. So far I've had a call on the ol company cell phone from folks at work asking questions that they shoulda have asked while I was training them during the 2 weeks prior to my departure. Some folks just can't be proactive, use common sense or even seek out the SMEs at the higher command. There are colleagues across the street or in the next bldg over that know my job and can answer questions. Damn, sometimes I wonder whether some folks are going thru life like traveling down a river without a paddle....
